The roof is tin so you can imagine how loud it was! Then times that my a 100! It down pours in one night as much rain as California gets in an entire year!
I'm glad the cabins are all on stilts!
Every night there was pouring rain, thunder & lightning. The very 1st night we were there the thunder was so loud it I thought we were having an earthquake, because it shook the cabin. It was so loud that you felt it in your chest! It was crazy! The wind would blow the rain into our cabin, we welcomed the coolness though it was so nice as it was the closest we were gonna get to air conditioning! I have never seen brighter lightning!
