In the middle of January Allen & his friend Ted went on a hunting trip. Ted's brother owns property up north & so do some his friends. So they were able hunt up there for free!
This was driving through the Grapevine, Allen said there was snow everywhere from the previous storm. That morning I was watching on the news & they said that people were going to be stuck on the side of the road late that morning. Thankfully they left even earlier than they originally planned & missed all that mess. 
He said the view was amazing everywhere you looked.

He said you had to be on your toes at all times because a boar could come running out of the trees & brush and charge at you at anytime. This was what it looked like all around them when they were lying in wait in their camouflage.
Did they shoot or bring anything home? NO! Did they have great time? YES!I am afraid my husband has now found a new sport he thoroughly enjoys!
