On February 2nd we went to Disneyland to see Ashley perform on the carnation stage. It doesn't hurt that Disneyland is the happiest place on earth! We didn't have to meet up with all the dancers until 2:15pm so we had from 9am till then to ride rides & have a blast!
The first ride we went on was Space Mountain of course! I have not been on this ride for a very long time, it's my favorite. It was so cool that Ashley is tall enough to go on all the rides! This is her before riding Space Mountain she was just a little nervous ;).
We spent the entire day with our dear friends the Whiddons. Our kids get along so well with theirs & of course we love hanging out with Kim & Steve too. Here's everyone waiting in line for the Nemo Submarine ride (except for Slade & I). Speaking of lines, there weren't any! We were able to ride every ride & some a few times, we walked right on to almost every one!

After Ashley was so brave on Space Mountain we asked her if she'd like to go to the Haunted Mansion. At first she did but as soon as we walked through the door she opted not to go! Her & I rode Splash Mountain instead :).

When we went on the Indiana Jones ride, Ashley cried her eyes out! It was a little too real for her! She thought for sure the spears, bugs & giant boulders were going to do us all in! ;)

After we dropped the girls off in Toon Town to meet up with the other dancers, my mom who joined us took the boys to Adventure land to ride Splash Mountain.

Since we found ourselves kidless, we decided to take advantage and ride a few rides. Here is the hilarious photo from Space mountain, I love Allen's face!

After we picked up Ashley she wanted to go to Minnie's house.
After that we went to eat our favorite, clam chowder in yummy bread bowls! Steve got creative to keep warm :).

We let Ashley pick the last ride since she was gone from 2:15pm to 5:30pm. She chose It's a Small World.
When we got off the ride the dance parade was going on & Ashley just LOVED it! It was the perfect ending to a great day!
