We had such a wonderful Christmas morning it was just the 4 of us. It was so relaxing & we really got to enjoy each others company. Then at 11:30 we left for my mom's house for Christmas with my step dad's side of the family, which we do every other year.
Instead of Santa Claus we celebrate Jesus at Christmas. Our kids get 3 gifts that represent the 3 wise men. We also give them a stocking full of wrapped gifts to represent Saint Nicholas who was a wonderful man who loved the Lord. Then of course they get a ton of gifts under the tree from us.
Christian got a Monster Jam Launch pad, a paint set & coloring book.
Ashley got a Cinderella curl & style doll head, a coloring book & paint set.
Christian loved his stocking...
...and so did B!
Oh the Love!
This was too cute, at their school they have a Christmas store every year. I gave the kids $3.00 each to buy each person in our family one thing. Christian picked out a pretty bracelet for B & Ashley picked out Spiderman balls for him. When I take them shopping for each other they always need coaching, this was completely on there own & I didn't even know what they had gotten for each other. It brought tears to my eyes to see them get so excited about each other opening the gift they picked out!
