This picture means a lot to me & that is why I am posting it. (even though I have absolutely no make up on & look terrible) Vanity aside, it is 4 generations of ladies making my Nanny's mother's cookie recipe! This is the 1st time she has given it out. We had fun making the cookies & I enjoyed hearing the stories about my grandma making them over the years & about her mom (my great grandmother). I plan to carry on the tradition of making them every Christmas as they are requested by the whole family on my mom's side. It's a lot of work & too hard for my Nanny to do on her own anymore.
