Waiting for the bus to take us down to the Postpile.We took a 20 minute drive into Mammoth to catch the bus down to The Devil's Postpile Monument. The weather was perfect 77 degrees with a cool breeze. We just had to get pictures with the mammoth in Mammoth!
It was a 30 minute bus ride down to the ranger station at the bottom & Ashley fell asleep. When we got off the bus there was a table that had different animal furs & bones laid out for the kids to touch & learn about. Ashley loved it but was pretty grumpy (as she always is if you wake her from her slumber) about having to hike a 1/4 of a mile to the monument.
So when we got to the monument after much whining, complaining & suckering Daddy into riding on his shoulders she collapsed on this rock! She is such a drama queen!
