The Sequoias

 After visiting the bottom floor of Yosemite on our way home we stopped to see the Sequoia trees at one the groves.

As we went along the trail they got bigger & bigger!

This one was really cool, they made a tunnel through it!

This is Christian & Ashley inside a sequoia that had been struck by lightning & fell over.

They were able to walk through it & come out on the other side.

It was a mile hike downhill to get to the sequoias so the way back was ALL uphill, Ashley had quite a few meltdowns.

Then she just passed out in the car! :)

This is her pet rock that she found and lovingly named eggy. She made it a bed using toilet paper & cotton balls.

I love my daughter :)

We got up on Tuesday morning and the boys went fishing, Ashley & I relaxed at camp & then we packed up around 12pm & headed home. We had a great time & next year we plan to go to Yosemite for our entire vacation, it is SO beautiful!
