The next morning (Sunday) we all got up early & drove to Lake Tioga. This just so happened to be Christian & Grandpa Richard's birthday...
Ashley was the 1st one to catch a fish.
This is one my favorite places in the world because it is so beautiful & to say that the pictures don't do it justice is an understatement.
Ashley caught 2 fish with that tiny little pole!
Christian was determined to catch a fish on his birthday. So he baited the hook, cast the line & within one minute he had a bite!
He reeled it in himself.
Then Allen helped him get the hook out of it's mouth.
He was so proud of himself & so were we!

On the way home we stopped to take a picture of this waterfall. It's hard to tell that it's a waterfall because of all the snow above it, but it was gorgeous! Usually it just trickles, but this year it was gushing!
