Wild Animal Park

Last Monday Ashley & I went on a field trip to the Wild Animal Park in Escondido.

We went on the tour & saw

Giraffes

Rhinos & many other animals

This was the new elephant exhibit, it was beautiful but unfortunately none of the elephants were out of there pins. I love this tree though!

Below is the other side of the exhibit, it's the elephant's feeding area

This was so funny! Ashley had a sweet 'n salty peanut bar & the the elephant kept putting it's trunk out toward her stiffing around!

So we're at the Wild Animal Park & my daughter is most fascinated by a turtle! LOL

You may have to click on the picture to see it, we almost walked right past it without noticing as well. In the very middle of all that grass & leaves is a baby deer

Ashley picked out a little mouse (it's a rat but she will fight you to the death if you tell her otherwise!) So of course she just had to pose for one last photo with "mousy" on top of a huge Rhino!
