Yesterday we had a BBQ to celebrate Memorial Day. We had Allen's Mom, Step Dad, & Grandma over as well as my Sister & Niece Rachael & our guest of honor (who unfortunately I didn't get any pictures of) Eric who is currently serving in the U.S.M.C. Allen met him through his Tuesday night men's study at church. He also comes to our home fellowship bible study on Thursday nights.

Just finished eating yummy hamburgers, corn on the cob, baked beans, watermelon & salad. Can't get any more American than that! :)
The girls were making "Rock Soup" which is much better than what Allen & his cousin Tad used to make which was "Poop Soup" (pretty self explanatory).

We ended the evening with a friendly game of poker!
