On Thursday June 10th we went to Los Angeles to visit the Union Rescue Mission & attend their fundraising luncheon. We were also able to meet the author of one of the best books I have ever read in my life. Ron Hall who Co-Authored the book Same Kind Of Different as Me. A true story of two very different men.
After the lunch we took a picture with the Author & he signed our books
It just so happened to be my dear friend Caroline's birthday! So after the luncheon we drove to the Cheescake factory at Victoria Gardens to celebrate.
When we got there we discovered we had a flat tire. So while our handsome knights changed the tire (in slacks) we enjoyed some refreshing iced tea & ordered for all of us.
