Our flight left San Diego at 9:40am CA time & we landed in Austin, Texas at 2:25pm Texas time. It was a very cold rainy day which was a nice change after not seeing any rain in CA for so long. The kids had a great time flying & were not scared at all, if you ask what their favorite part was.....that would be the peanuts!
Scott & Denise picked us up from the airport as did our niece & 3 nephews. We went to lunch from the airport to a place called Country Market, it was very good.
When we got to their beautiful home which is in a little town called Bastrop, Texas we just relaxed, unpacked & the kids played (of course). While the boys all played baseball on XBOX 360, the girls just had to have a tea party which included a 3rd guest named Buddy who kept coming over & eating the cookies. If you look closely he's behind Abby, he's their toy poodle.
In this picture ready for bed is Josh, Caleb, Christian, Jordan, Ashley & Abby. After a long fun day the kids built a fort & went to bed. We adults stayed up way too late talking & laughing!
